Dr Devinder Singh Sandhu is internationally renowned Oncologist and Hematologist. After MBBS and MD (Medicine) he did Doctorate of Medicine in cancer treatment (DM) from India’s No. 1 medical institute All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) New Delhi. Then he went to the USA and received advanced cancer training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York, USA which is rated as world’s number one cancer center.
He was invited as faculty and delivered guest lectures to American doctors on cancer treatment at Jersey city, New Jersey, USA in July 2016 and at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA in Aug 2016. He was again invited as faculty and again delivered guest lecture to US doctors on breast cancer at Sedona, Arizona, USA in July 2017.
He is pioneer in cancer treatment in Northern India having performed first ever BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) in the state of Punjab at Ludhiana in 2006.
He has published dozens of cancer research papers in peer reviewed international and national Journals. He is reviewer of many Journals and has conducted many cancer trials as Principal Investigator.
